Salary: 65-75k per year + Performance Bonus. OTE of 90K
Job Description:

Table Matters Catering Pty Ltd (TMC) operates 5 restaurants across NSW. We are currently looking for a committed and skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee a 200-seat restaurant located in Parramatta. The ideal candidate will lead our team and elevate the dining experience for our guests. This full-time position is crucial to the restaurant’s success, emphasizing both operational excellence and the development of relationships with corporate clients for lunchtime events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
  • Manage the restaurant team, providing training, coaching, and performance reviews to ensure high standards of service and teamwork.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase restaurant profitability and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Reach out to corporate companies to promote and secure lunchtime events, building lasting relationships and understanding their needs.
  • Coordinate with the culinary team to curate menu options for corporate events, ensuring alignment with guest expectations and dietary requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Handle customer inquiries and feedback promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Manage budgets and financial performance, including weekly and monthly reporting to track and analyze performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create promotional materials and campaigns targeting corporate clients.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage clients and promote events.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of menu planning, budgeting, and financial management.
  • A passion for food and exceptional guest service.
